Whilst walking down the 9th fairway of Royal Portrush, host of the 1951 British Open - the only one ever held in Ireland - I noticed two Irish women searching for lost golf balls. When I left the green, I called back: "Can either one of you teach me how to putt?" "Darlin'," she replied, "I'm a wonderful putter, but there's a problem. First I'd turn your head, then I'd turn your heart, and then you"d want to give up the game altogether." My chance meeting with these two lovely ladies is something I have shared with many golfers, and it reminded me of the sage advice a fellow high school golf coach told me years ago: "Play Ireland at least once in your life."

  • Len has 17 years’ experience; he personally conducted his first tour in 1991.
  • Len knows and loves golf, was a high school golf coach for 20 years, and took high school golfers to Denmark in 1985 and Australia in 1990 as a coach for Sport for Understanding, an exchange program.
  • Len has up-to-date information about what Ireland and Scotland have to offer, having personally attended tourism expos in both of these countries.
  • Len has a solid reputation, with the best of references.
  • G&MG specializes in golf tours, but we can always arrange other tours.
  • G&MG prices can’t be matched by the big tour operators.
  • G&MG will never knowingly disappoint you or your group, and will never arrange a trip that we, ourselves, would not like to take – quality is of the utmost importance. G&MG wonders why some tour operators put certain courses on their schedules, knowing full well these courses are not why Americans travel over the pond to play golf.
  • G&MG believes a golfing “adventure” should include world-class courses, exquisite surroundings, comfortable lodgings, good food, pleasant hosts, and enough humor and laughter to help you not care where you left your cell phone.
  • G&MG is ready when you are!
